We are seeking a passionate and experienced **Events Sous Chef** to support our Executive Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for private events and functions. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Sous Chef to contribute to the success of high-profile events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale occasions, within a vibrant and luxurious setting. Events Sous Chef Key Responsibilities

Menu Planning & Execution: Assist in designing bespoke menus that cater to the tastes and dietary needs of members and their guests, incorporating seasonal ingredients and modern culinary trends. Event Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Events team to plan, prepare, and execute food for various events, ensuring all dishes are delivered on time and with impeccable presentation. Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation; ensure consistency and attention to detail in every dish. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop junior kitchen staff, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Inventory & Cost Management: Assist in ordering, managing inventory, and minimizing waste; work within set budgets to control food costs while maintaining quality. Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all food safety regulations, health & safety standards, and club policies, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Events Sous Chef Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience as a Sous Chef, preferably within a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or private members club. Strong background in events or catering with experience in high-volume, high-quality food preparation. Ability to create innovative and diverse menus while meeting various dietary requirements. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong ability to manage, train, and motivate a team. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Food Safety Level 2/3 certification preferred).
