Senior Estimator Required - BUILD - £60,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience and level) + Car Allowance, Pension plus contributions etc The Company This client has grown significantly over the past 10 years. They are growing significantly and the rest of 2024 and 2025 is already looking very promising. Due to the upturn in work they are currently looking for a Senior Estimator due to an increase in work. This is an exciting opportunity to work on construction, development and refurbishment projects within a wide rang of different sectors. This role as an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, growing company lead by a strong team of professional construction professionals Projects They work on a variety of different kinds of projects including Residential, Commercial, Offices, Leisure, Retail, Industrial, Health, Restoration, Refurbishment, Fit out and mixed used projects. Tender values will be between £500k and £10 million in value. Duties To monitor potential incoming enquiries Maintain up-to-date market knowledge of labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors Prepare & send out sub-contract & material enquiries using conquest enquiry system Where required produce accurate take-off using Excel Manage, as directed, enquiries for labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors Work on varied tenders Price bills/schedules analytically and produce quote comparisons using excel estimating software Complete tender pricing for adjudication by the tender committee, including reporting on any risks or onerous conditions, providing a winning edge Liaise with Commercial Manager / Operational Director to assess programme & preliminaries Conducting feasibility studies and writing procurement reports Applying Value Management techniques at the outset of a project.
