Maintenance Manager

Location: Surrey Rate: £350 per day Position Type: Temporary to Permanent Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? A small but dedicated housing association based in Surrey is seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Manager to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. Main Purpose: The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing reactive maintenance and small works projects, utilizing both an in-house maintenance team and external contractors. The successful candidate will ensure that all maintenance activities meet the required standards and are completed within the specified timescales. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the delivery of reactive maintenance services. * Oversee small works projects to ensure timely and quality completion. * Ensure maintenance work adheres to high standards and is completed within designated timeframes. * Monitor void properties and ensure they are ready for occupancy promptly. * Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, security, and compliance with regulatory standards. * Coordinate with external contractors to ensure quality and timely completion of works. * Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure proper documentation. * Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents.
