Job Vacancy: Tiler Floorlayer (Initial Contract with Possibility of Extension) Location: N7 9QH Start Date: ASAP - 3 Month Contract Pay Rate: £22.62 Per Hour PAYE Working Hours: 40 Hours Per Week, 08:00 - 16:00 Responsibilities: Planning: Following design plans and working out how much material is needed Preparing: Preparing surfaces by levelling with plaster, sand, or cement, and removing old surfaces Cutting: Cutting tiles to the right size and shape using hand or power tools Installing: Laying tiles in patterns, checking that they are level and straight Grouting: Filling in joints with grout after the adhesive has dried Cleaning: Tidying up and disposing of old materials safely Communicating: Following instructions from supervisors and site managers, and talking to customers Using tools: Using and maintaining hand and power tools, such as tile cutters, hammers, and chisels Working safely: Being aware of health and safety issues, and working in compliance with relevant legislationRequirements: Level 2 NVQ in Wall and Floor Tiling Level 2 Wall and Floor Tiler Apprenticeship Must have Social Housing Experience Proven experience as a tiler with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in various tiling systems and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Relevant tiling certifications and licenses.
