Warehouse Manager
Skyline Roofing Centres are a leading supplier of roofing and building materials with branches within and around the M25. Our sales indicate that we are the leading privately owned supplier of roofing materials and we have been operating for over 45 years.
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join our busy, friendly Brockley branch. This is a full time, permanent role. We offer full training but you must have some warehouse management experience in a similar industry to ours. Principal Job Requirements
- Ensure a safe and efficient working environment for staff customers and visitors
- Maintain company/branch procedures and plans set by Branch Manager and Head Office
- Manage the Warehouse and Transport staff, setting an example with regards to attitude, appearance and overall requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Report and correct any breaches of Health & Safety
- Supervising day-to-day operations
- Maintain department procedures and stock locations. Liaise with the Branch Manager
- Day-to-day management of the warehouse, staff and drivers maintaining the standard of Health & Safety
- Other ad-hoc duties where and when required
- Overseeing Goods-In/Out, ensuring that orders are correct and on time
- Be a key holder
- Ensuring security of the Branch
- Ensuring yard and warehouse is open on time for trading.
