Back End Developer

Job DescriptionFutureheads are exclusively partnered with one of the leading publishers, who provide a range of relevant topical knowledge, actionable insights and commercial information to clients across the UK and EU.Having hired a new technology lead, they have seen that there is some ongoing work needed to modernize several of their sites and products so are looking to bring in a Back End Developer to work with them through this busy period. This is a 6-month initial contract, with the likelihood of it becoming permanent.We are happy for candidates (must be UK based), to work remotely throughout.To be considered for this role you will need to be able to display:Experience developing Restful and GraphQL microservices and backend processes using Node.jsJavaScript/TypescriptExperience working with AWS cloud infrastructureHave a modern test led, automation supported software delivery processWorked in cross functional agile teamsNice to haves:Experience with Elastic SearchBuilding web components with ReactKnowledge of DevOps tools and processes
