Our client is an established producer of high quality pet foods based in North Scarle, Lincoln and they currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their team!
The role will be covering 2 sites, one in Lincoln and one in Retford and so the successful candidate will need their own transport in order to work across both sites as and when required.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday with an annual salary of 45,000 per annum.

The role is responsible for leading the HSE team to promote and deliver the group HSE policies and strategies to the sites and be the driver of a safety culture to create a workplace free of risk to health and wellbeing.
Evaluate with documented annual reviews of all site equipment, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with government safety regulations, industry, ISO standards, group H&S policies and strategy
To assist managers, supervisors & staff to identify & report hazards / near misses in the workplace and to take corrective action or initiate controls to minimise the risk
Implement and monitor effective proactive systems such as H&S inspections, Step Back & Take 5 and leadership tours
To undertake Internal Health & safety auditing and inspection and take corrective action for any non-conformances identified
Ensure all risk assessments are carried out for each machine / process on the QUOR system
Ensure that all COSHH assessments are conducted using the SEVRON system
To maintain health & safety statutory reports
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation, keep the site register up to date and feed back to the appropriate stakeholders where necessary
Ensure site compliance of the company's ISO 45001 & 14001 Management Systems
Manage HSE departmental budget
Attend the quarterly group H&S meeting, present information as requested and close out any minutes assigned to your site within the agreed timescales
