Damp, Mould & Disrepair SurveyorGoodman Masson are working with a Housing Association in the South East/East of England to recruit for a Damp, Mould & Disrepair Surveyor.Rate: £300-£350 per day (depending on experience)Duration: 6 months + (temp-to-perm)The successful candidate will be responsible for:Conducting thorough inspections of properties to identify issues related to damp, mould, and disrepairDiagnose the root causes of damp and mould, such as leaks, poor ventilation, or insulation problemsProduce detailed reports outlining findings and recommended repairsWork closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs are carried outCommunicate with tenants, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed throughout the repair processThe successful candidate will have:Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of building structures and common causes of damp and mouldExcellent communication skills to liaise with tenants and internal teamsA keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to inspections and reportingKnowledge of health and safety regulations related to housing conditionsAbility to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently
