Freight Import Operator

Are you a Road Freight Import Operator? Would you be looking at a new challenge? We are recruiting for a reputable company based in West Bromwich. The main duties will be:   You will be dealing Road Freight- FTL / PTL / Groupage To run IT and ES import operations Dealing with road and import process start to finish. Liaising with hauliers, negotiating rates, preparing quotations Handling documentation including commercial invoices, DGN Dealing with trade lanes covering all of Europe. The successful candidate will have the following skills: The ability to build strong relationships with clients. Excellent communication skills A good standard of educations A strong work ethic and an enthusiastic nature. The ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a thriving team is essential. If you have the following skills it would be an advantage but not mandatory. Customs systems: CDS, NCTS, Sequoia, Destin8, CNS and GMR  Wide range of entries including Home Use, IPR, OPR  Working with Commodity Codes / Incoterms  Raising IDR documents for import shipments.
