Supply Chain Analyst The role involves managing the end-to-end supply chain for multiple product ranges through both automated and manual replenishment processes. The goal is to maximise customer service levels while optimising costs. Additionally, the role provides detailed analytical support across the Supply Chain function. Supply Chain Analyst's Benefits: Salary: £38k (DOE), Bonus, Hybrid Working, 25 days holidays plus BH, Pension, Training & Development, Company events & Staff discount Supply Chain Analyst's Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the execution of the demand planning process. * Analyse trends, review forecast exceptions, and develop a robust demand plan to optimise service and minimise costs. * Serve as the subject matter expert on stocking policies and product lifecycle management. * Regularly review inventory exceptions and take corrective action to minimise stockouts and prevent obsolete stock. * Execute the monthly stock and pallet forecast. * Analyse inventory changes and provide actionable recommendations to meet stock targets, reduce overstocks, and improve inventory days. * Lead at least one continuous improvement project at a time and support the Supply Chain Manager on additional projects. * Provide critical data for formal improvement initiatives and proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements. * Identify and resolve data gaps in the ERP and forecasting systems. * Conduct periodic audits between the ERP system and third-party warehouses to maintain stock integrity. * Produce monthly reports and provide in-depth analytical support across the Supply Chain and develop and maintain standard reports and dashboards for ongoing supply chain monitoring. * Act as an additional Power User for core supply chain IT systems, including Efacs and Slim4, to support team queries, develop proficiency in PowerBI for report and dashboard creation within the Supply Chain team. Supply Chain Analyst's Knowledge and Skills: * Proven experience in demand and supply planning. * Strong analytical abilities with a solid understanding of key performance indicators (e.g., stock, service levels, and inventory days). * Ability to analyse complex data, perform root cause analysis, and effectively present insights to stakeholders. Supply Chain Analyst's Education and Experience: * Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field (Maths, Business, or Science). * Experience with forecast and replenishment systems, particularly Slim4 and Efacs. * Demonstrated background in applying analysis to achieve improved outcomes. * High level of numeracy and proficiency in Excel. * Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to build relationships across supply chain teams and with external suppliers.
