Production Supervisor

An engineering and manufacturing business supplying high-precision machined components to aerospace and defence sectors is now seeking a Cell Manager to lead their growing team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for Production planning and output, as well as Health & Safety and cost control within the cell. You will be responsible for a team of 15-20 team leaders and operators that operate on a 3-shift pattern. Cell Manager responsibilities: Implement and maintain a continuous improvement ethos within the area Analyse quality concerns within the cell, and implement actions to resolve Identify areas for operator progression, development, and growth Evaluate Cell performance through performance reviews, promotion, and job swaps Manage the weekly expenditure of the section, including PPE and labour utilisation Responsible for all Health and Safety within the section, including audits The ideal candidate will have proven experience in supervision within a manufacturing facility, with good people management skills and the ability to get the best out of a team With a heap of benefits on offer, including an enhanced pension, quarterly cash bonus scheme, and discounts across gyms, The cinema and high street retail stores If you are looking to join an ever-growing business whose primary focuses are ensuring 100% quality for their customers, and has a real team feel, then this is the job for you!
