Job Title: Senior 2nd Line Engineer Location: Cheshire Job Type: Office & Field based Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE Our client is dedicated to providing top-tier IT services to a diverse range of clients. We are looking for a Senior 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their team and help continue to deliver exceptional support to a wide range of clients. Please note a driving licence and own vehicle (mileage paid) is required. Company van can also be provided. Key Responsibilities: Work on various client based projects Resolve complex technical issues Site visits, audit new customers, suggesting recommendations Diagnose software and hardware faults Helpdesk support for AV, phone, hardware issuesPersonal Attributes: Extensive use of Office 365 package Knowledge on firewall, networking/security procedures, routing & switches Understanding of Network protocols - DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, WAN, LAN Experience with virtualisation - Hyper-V / VMWare / Citrix etc MS Certs highly desired Fantastic communication skills, confident talking with seniors Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude Great team player, happy to help each other outBenefits: Company vehicle / or mileage paid Free parking on site 28 Days annual leave Workplace pension Collaborative and supportive team environment Additional money earnt with on call or call out fee'sIf you are a motivated and skilled IT professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you!
