We’re working on behalf of an SME that manufactures a range of premium food products looking to hire a

Head of Sales

. This role offers the chance to lead a high-performing sales team, drive business growth, and expand both UK and international markets. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proven track record in sales leadership to step into a key role with room for progression.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the UK and globally. Lead and manage the sales team, setting KPIs and ensuring performance targets are met. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align strategies. Monitor sales performance, reporting regularly to senior leadership. Manage and optimize sales budgets for maximum impact and ROI. Ensure smooth management of client relationships and day-to-day operations.

Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a team of 4 direct and 3 indirect reports. Set and monitor KPIs, driving team success and new business growth. Foster a proactive and results-driven sales culture, leading by example.

To be considered you’ll need to display the following: Proven experience as Head of Sales or similar role in the UK food/drink FMCG sector. Strong leadership and client relationship management skills. In-depth knowledge of UK grocery retailers and market trends. Strategic, analytical, and results-oriented mindset. Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Potential to step into a Sales Director role
