Construction Contract Manager

Corrie Recruitment are looking for a Construction Contract Manager for a permanent role with our client working in Aberdeen. Main duties would include but not be limited to: * Overall management including programme progress, cost control, direct labour management and management of sub-contractors. Some tasks may be delegated if a PM is on site, however CM is fully responsible. * Supervising Project Managers / Senior Site managers / Site Managers & Engineers. * Liaising with project design teams to ensure design is in place timeously by ensuring the team has an information release schedule in place. * Design project programme by studying job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods; schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines. * Undertake site inspections and visits on a regular basis to ensure the project is carried out in a safe and organised manner; inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations. All site visits are to be recorded. * Liaise with public utilities, local authorities and NHBC or similar (where applicable) to ensure relevant orders are placed and consultation takes place to meet the project programme. Candidates would be required to have CSCS and a Driving Licence with CITB SMSTS, CSCS Managers Certification, Bachelor Degree or Management Qualification from NVQ/SVQ Level 5 being desirable. Please note accommodation or subsistence would not be provided with this role. Annual salary of £60k Circa with a £550 monthly Car Allowance.
