We are looking for a Senior Leisure Sales Manager who is a self-starter with a passion to help grow our emerging markets, enthusiastic and highly motivated to join our Sales Team, based at our Head Office in London. You will play a key role in managing relationships with our preferred travel agencies and concierge partners, both in the UK and across the US market. Working closely with our USA Sales Team, you'll act as a key point of contact for UK-based clients while helping to drive business growth. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to create and implement proactive strategies for growing our leisure sales sector across all Firmdale properties. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key travel agents, concierges, and agencies, both within the UK and internationally. Proactively generate new business opportunities to increase market share and revenue, while maximising partnerships with existing clients. Identify and respond to emerging trends in the leisure travel industry to remain competitive. Manage a portfolio of high-value agencies by organising site inspections, familiarisation trips, and client entertainment events. Attend and represent Firmdale Hotels at trade shows, networking events, and conferences across the UK and internationally. Plan and conduct strategic sales trips in the UK and overseas to further develop business opportunities. Participate in weekly sales meetings, revenue discussions, and strategy sessions with General Managers and cross-functional teams. Contribute to the preparation and execution of the annual sales plan, including contract negotiations and the completion of RFPs, when required. Provide timely reports on business performance, key activities, and new client development efforts. What you Need: Proven experience as a Sales Manager, with at least 2-3 years in the luxury 5-star hotel sector, with a focus on the leisure market in London. A strong network of existing client contacts within the travel and leisure industry, with the ability to hit the ground running. A strategic thinker who is proactive, adaptable, and driven to exceed targets. Ability to identify and respond to new trends, market opportunities, and client needs. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with confidence in liaising with senior management, team members, and external clients. Experience in contract negotiation, data analysis, and the ability to report on key performance metrics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Opera, Salesforce, and Cvent is essential. A positive, detail-oriented, and professional approach with a strong can-do attitude. Flexibility to travel and represent the brand at events in the UK and overseas.
