Role Overview: As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be a key player in expanding our business by managing and growing high-value accounts, identifying new opportunities, and leading the sales effort within your region. Your primary clients will include IT Directors, Facilities Managers, and office fit-out companies, and you will leverage your industry experience to build and maintain strong relationships. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with a passion for technology and a proven track record in B2B sales. Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities across various sectors, focusing on AV and IT solutions. Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand client base. Engage with key decision-makers, including IT Directors, Facilities Managers, and contractors, to understand their needs and propose tailored AV solutions. Lead the sales process from prospecting through to closure, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate forecasting. Account Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring that client business is positioned as the preferred supplier for all AV-related needs. Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and long-term loyalty. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement account-specific campaigns and initiatives. Sales Leadership: Serve as a mentor and leader within the sales team, sharing best practices and supporting the development of junior team members. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, ensuring client remains competitive in the market. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to enhance our client visibility and brand presence. Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our business product and service offerings. Work closely with technical teams to design and propose solutions that meet client needs and align with our capabilities. Continuously update your knowledge of AV technologies and trends to better serve clients and support business growth. Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the AV sectors. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Experience working with office fit-out companies, contractors, and IT teams is highly desirable. Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding of AV products and solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders. Full, clean UK driving license and own transport. Right to live and work in the UK.
