This means that you will need to drive and have your own vehicle to work for us.While many companies only pay Care Assistants for contact time, we believe that you should be paid for every minute that you work. That's why we pay our carers for travel time and mileage too.Roles & Responsibilities of a Care AssistantIncluding but not limited to: Providing personal care Administering medication Manual handling - using equipment where required Promoting customer health and wellbeing Providing companionship and help with activities/appointments Planning, preparing and cooking meals Shopping and undertaking domestic tasks around the home Your Experience and Suitability for the Care Assistant RolePrevious experience as a carer isn't necessary.
