Job Title: Head of Grocery Location: London, UK (2-3 days in the office) Package: Up to £70k + 20% bonus About the Company: With it’s plant-based alternatives, this business is dedicated to transforming the way the world thinks about food. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Grocery to drive the division to new heights. About the Role: The Head of Grocery will be responsible for leading and managing the grocery division, overseeing all aspects of the grocery business including strategy, operations, and team management. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in grocery retail, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in driving sales and growth. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: Develop and implement strategic plans for existing grocery accounts across the business. Maintaining the strong relationships already in place with the key decision makers. New Business: Develop and executive sales and marketing strategies in order to develop the client portfolio. Driving growth and expansion for the business. Competitor Analysis: Stay up to date with market trends and competitor analysis which will in turn effect account strategies. Collaboration & Leadership: Working internally with all teams to ensure delivery of account objectives. Foster a collaborative and positive culture, ensuring staff are motivated and equipped to meet performance targets. Key Requirements: Proven track record in a senior account management role with direct experience managing top-tier UK retailers e.g. Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Waitrose. A strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting relationships no matter the level. Have a passion for working within mission-led, sustainable business. Excellent commercial awareness in order to drive sales and increase profitability. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities. Be hungry to succeed!
