Sales Manager

Position: Sales Manager -UK Location: UK Rate/Salary: Dependant On experience Type: Perm HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter within the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy and Aerospace sectors. We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic UK Sales Manager to join our team within the marine industry. This role will be responsible for driving sales, developing new business, and managing existing client relationships across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the marine sector and must be willing to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events. Duties and responsibilities of the Sales Manager/ Business Development Manager: • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth. • Actively seek out and develop new business opportunities in the marine market, expanding the company’s footprint across the UK • Lead contract negotiations, prepare sales proposals, and secure profitable deals. • Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to ensure our offerings remain competitive and aligned with market demands • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Director, including pipeline management and forecasting. Qualifications and requirement for the Sales Manager/ Business Development Manager: • Proven experience as a sales management role, ideally within the marine or related industry. • In-depth understanding of the marine market, including key players, trends, and industry regulations • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to stakeholders at all levels • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK as required to meet business needs. • Full UK driving license required This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
