Female Personal Assistant/Buddy needed in London, W11. A fantastic full-time opportunity for a professional *female PA/Buddy to support an engaging, bright girl of 14 who is experiencing anxiety and depression. Up to £60,000.00 gross per annum DOE. Nearest Tube/Station: Notting Hill Gate, Holland Park and Ladbroke Grove. Wage/Salary: £55,000.00 GPA (Up to 2 years of professional experience) - £60,000.00 GPA (2 years+ professional experience) Driver Essential? No Essential: Experience working with children/young teenagers within a similar role. Experience working with children or teenagers with learning and mental health needs. First aid trained (or willing to obtain). Background or experience in education, social work or psychology. *This role is open to female applicants only. Desirable: Experience supporting a child or teenager with behaviours that may challenge. Understanding of child development Start Date: October 25th 2024 Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm. Flexibility is needed to work occasional weekends and evenings, agreed in advance and paid as extra. This is a 6-month contract, with the potential to extend depending on clients’ needs. She has a passion for music, films and crafts, with a particular interest in pottery. Recently, Amy has been facing some mental health challenges, including anxiety and depression, and has participated in an intensive therapy program. She is now seeking a Personal Assistant/Buddy to support her through her daily routine and provide companionship. Overview of role: This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a PA/Buddy to support Amy with her daily routine and activities, including accompanying her to various appointments and activities. You will play an essential role in maintaining a healthy and structured daily routine, including mealtimes and other scheduled commitments. As Amy’s new PA/Buddy, your primary responsibility will be to ensure her safety and well-being through active supervision and support. You will be tasked with organising and attending appointments related to her care, such as medical visits and therapy sessions. Strong collaboration and communication with Amy’s parents are crucial, they will require regular updates on her progress and any changing needs. Creativity and a proactive attitude are key to this role. You will be responsible for finding engaging, age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors, that align with Amy’s interests and help promote her skills development. Establishing a positive, trusting relationship with Amy is vital, as this will form the foundation for your work together.
