Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN teacher to join our pool of educators in Birmingham. This is a flexible, on-call position that requires a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for stepping into classrooms across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring that students continue to receive high-quality education during the absence of their regular teacher.

Maintain continuity of learning by following school policies and procedures. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students. Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners where necessary. Uphold high standards of behaviour management in line with school policies. Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and school leadership teams. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students. Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and key stages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and positive approach to covering a wide range of subjects and year groups. A current DBS check, or willingness to undertake one.
