Class 2 Driver

CLASS 2 DRIVER MONDAY - FRIDAY: STARTS £15.50 PER HOUR People Solutions are looking for a Class 2 Driver for our client based in Burton Upon Trent. You must be aged 25 or over for this role. Benefits Weekly pay - PAYE Temporary to permanent placement potential Ongoing work Site parking Day to Day Duties Operate and drive various Class 2 Vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to deliver to multiple stores across the country All vehicles have tail-lifts, but you will be required to lift heavy boxes and move cages, so any applicants must be willing and able to do this The Vehicles have sleeper cabs as nights out could be required on a sporadic basis Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel consumption Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed Ensure vehicles are well presented at all times Essential Skills Hold a valid UK Category C licence and have held this for at least two years Hold a UK DIGI Card & CPC Card No more than six penalty points for minor infringements No major endorsement codes Must be aged 25 or over due to insurance purposes Excellent timekeeping Good communication skills Excellent customer service skills Desirable Experience Previous Class 2 store delivery experience would be beneficial as this role involves working on timed delivery slots Training An initial paid assessment and paid induction will be provided before you start driving Apply Apply today by clicking below TPBN1_UKTJ
