HGV 1 Driver.
c £40,000 - £42,000 pa DoE.
+ Paid overtime, Pension and Holiday's.
As a result of continuous business growth, we are looking to expand our team and recruit an experienced HGV1 Driver.
This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in the career and join a well- established and successful team.
Day work only - Hours: 06:00 to 16:00 (46.25 hours per week).
Monday to Friday (hours are flexible to the needs of our business) some weekend work available with prior notice.
Main Duties:
Collect, deliver and exchange RO-RO bins, travelling between clients and 3 operational sites. Following driving routes provided by Transport Department. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to the Transport Manager. To complete all paperwork accurately in a timely manner. Parking of all vehicles at the end of everyday. Making sure the cab of your lorry is always clean and tidy. Keep in regular contact with the transport manager, yard managers and weighbridge operators at each site.Attributes and Experience
Class 1 Driving Licence (Minimum 2 years). Must hold a Drivers CPC Licence. RO-RO (Wagon & Drag) Training can be provided. You must have good problem-solving skills. Effective communication, both orally and in writing, is essential. You will also have an excellent phone manner.
