Senior Consultant - Nuclear

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Consultant - Nuclear to be engaged on a permanent basis in Barrow with hybrid working. What you'll be doing: Act as safety engineering lead, providing recommendations through analysis to improve the safety engineering performance and delivery of departmental outputs Facilitating the build and commissioning delivery through innovative engineering solutions and problem solving. Ensuring the maintenance of design intent during the build and commissioning. Advise and conduct Intelligent Customer duties regarding documentation, advice and services provided to the business Supporting assessment of plant design changes Providing technically sound challenges to existing requirements Writing and presenting reports to communicate nuclear safety matters to a variety of internal and external stakeholdersYour skills and experiences: Essential: Degree Qualified Engineering/Physical Science discipline; Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, Chemistry, Physics Knowledge of the nuclear industry and Nuclear Regulations Desirable: Proven technical report writing skills Presentation skill Why We're Different: Westlakes Recruit are a people solutions business that understands the complexities of nuclear and the importance of our clients' mission critical objectives.
