Vehicle Technician - Basingstoke

Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established dealership in Basingstoke. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading brand, offering a competitive salary and excellent earning potential.

Position Details:

• Location: Basingstoke
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend Rota: 1 in 4 weekends
• Salary: 30,000 to 36,500
• OTE: 50,000+

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair complex faults to the highest manufacturer standards.
• Perform thorough inspections and ensure work is completed to a high level of accuracy.
• Liaise with customers and service advisors, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a dealership or independent workshop environment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• A valid UK driving licence.
