Occupational Therapist Band 6 Location: Preston Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM IMC Locums are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic Community Mental Health Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with complex mental health needs. Key Responsibilities: • Use your occupational therapy expertise to promote social inclusion, independent living, and recovery for individuals with significant mental health challenges. • Work with service users who have complex occupational performance difficulties, helping them to function meaningfully and independently within their communities. • Provide key worker support for service users with predominantly occupational therapy needs. Requirements: • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist (Band 6). • Experience working within a mental health setting, ideally in a community-based role. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams. • Knowledge of mental health recovery models and approaches. • Ability to manage a complex caseload and work independently. • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable.
