Our client, a leading independent commodity pricing and information organisation, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of SME to lead their SME division through an exciting period of growth. This is a unique opportunity to oversee a portfolio with thousands of low-value, high-growth accounts and drive strategies that will unlock significant future potential.*Please note - this is a 12 Month FTC*Key Responsibilities:Lead the transformation of the SME division to ensure it continues to meet ambitious growth targets, managing a high-volume, transactional portfolio of accounts.Implement innovative software and automation solutions to efficiently scale operations and enhance customer segmentation.Use data-driven insights to segment thousands of accounts, identifying those with high-growth potential while protecting valuable, at-risk relationships.Design and implement tailored customer journeys for each segment, ensuring optimal touchpoints and engagement strategies.Collaborate with marketing, sales, and insights teams to maximize customer relationships and capture new opportunities.Accurately forecast sales performance and work with finance to ensure precision in performance models.Inspire and manage a team to exceed sales targets and deliver measurable success across the portfolio.Present data-backed performance reports and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.What We’re Looking For:Extensive experience in managing large portfolios with thousands of accounts and implementing strategies that drive high-volume, low-value business growth.Expertise in using data and software to accurately segment and target different customer cohorts.Proven ability to execute sales growth strategies and capitalize on high-growth opportunities.A creative, enthusiastic leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire a high-performing team.Experience managing global stakeholders and collaborating across functions to deliver results.Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce), Excel, and PowerPoint.A proactive, hands-on leader with a focus on results and innovation.
