Year 1 Teacher

Flourish Education are seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join an Ofsted ‘Good’ rated, large, Primary School in Quinton. Our client is looking for a Year 1 Teacher to cover on a full-time, long-term basis, from October half-term and continuing until December, potentially ongoing. This role would include whole class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparing and delivering lessons, marking and assessing pupils within the class. ECTs are encouraged to apply to this position, the school would not be able to facilitate induction. The responsibilities of this Year 1 Teaching Role: Full class responsibilities as a Year 1 Teacher, including planning and marking. Teaching the National Curriculum with a focus on phonics schemes. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborating with the school team to promote excellent behaviour management. Supporting and nurturing students' development as a Primary Teacher in Key Stage 1. Required Skills and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT). Experience as a Year 1 Teacher or similar Primary School teaching role. Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and phonics. Excellent behaviour management skills. Proven track record as a Primary Teacher delivering high-quality education.
