Project planner

Key Responsibilities: Planning and monitoring the progress of major projects throughout their lifecycle Executing detailed schedules for equipment, materials, and labour relative to schedule needs Managing schedule adherence to meet internal and external customer needs effectively Identifying and managing project critical paths, risks, and opportunities Analysing schedule progress and performance Coordinating workstream resource usage reviews Engaging stakeholders through clear communication and report preparation Job Requirements: Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification and/or experience Experience in delivering projects within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication skills, presenting, and reporting capabilities Confidence in leading team meetings, both in-person and online Proficiency in using MS Excel, MS Project, and Power Point Desirable Skills: Experience in automotive and/or marine engineering Experience in production assembly Experience with brown and greenfield construction projects Additional Features: Exposure to all areas of the business, working collaboratively to deliver high-value programmes Based at the Shoreham-by-Sea office, with occasional travel to project sites both nationally and internationally Opportunity to influence processes and implement best practices Behavioural Competencies: High personal standards of integrity Effective communicator across all levels, including external clients Proactive in leading planning meetings and resolving issues Confident in delivering tasks on time and to a high standard Organised and able to multi-task Ability to prioritise and respond urgently to serious issues If you are a skilled Project Planner looking for a new opportunity to drive and deliver complex automotive programmes, we would love to hear from you.
