HGV Class 1 Night Driver
Location: Sherburn in Elmet
Position: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift: Monday to Friday, 19:00 starts
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our team in Sherburn in Elmet. This role involves trunking to various RDCs across the UK, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. Each shift will typically range between 10 to 12 hours, offering stable and consistent work throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trunking between RDCs across the UK
- Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods
- Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhering to all driving regulations and maintaining a high standard of professionalism on the road
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Clean driving record with no more than 6 points on your licence
- Strong knowledge of UK road networks and adherence to driving regulations
- A professional and reliable approach to work
