Construction Project Manager

Based in: Reading, UK – Hybrid Working

Project Managers work in close contact with the client, advising them on the time, quality and cost.

Overview of Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Construction Project Manager with RIBA experience, to join our team on a range of projects (depending on your prior sector experience). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated candidate to join and strengthen our clients talented team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures.
• Comply with established procurement/commercial/contractual strategies.
• Take personal accountability for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards.
• Management and preparation of key stage reports from feasibility through to completion and post-handover.
• Ensuring business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances.
• Management of meetings, taking and preparation of minutes.
• Running bidding process including managing queries from tendering contractors.
• Managing multiple projects on ‘LIVE’ operational sites.
• Assistance with the preparation of contract documents.

Person Specification:

• In order to be considered for this role you must have 2-5 years Construction Consultancy experience working as a Project Manager and could be working on projects in sectors such as: Commercial Fit out/ Occupier, Commercial New Build / Developer, Healthcare, Science / Research
• Ideally you will hold a Construction Project Management degree or a similar construction related qualification with extensive technical delivery experience in a similar role.
• NEC or JCT Contract experience.
• RIBA experience (ideally pre and post contract - RIBA stages 0-7).
• Well organised, diligent, proactive, well-disciplined and commercially astute.
