Job Title: Support WorkerSector: Residential - Adults with additional needs and behavioursHours: 37.5 - Permanent, Full Time, DaysLocation: Cromer - NorfolkPay rate: £11.50 per hourSleep in's and occasional night shifts may be needed in the event of annual leave coverHunts recruitment is seeking an experienced Support Worker for a full time, permanent opportunity in Cromer- Norfolk.You will be working within a residential home for adults with severe and moderate learning disabilities, Autism, Mental health issues, physical disabilities, bipolar, Epilepsy, seasonal affective disorder, PICA (eating disorder), Severe Speech and Language Delay Disorder.What you will be doing: Using the training provided, assist those who our client supports by helping with daily tasks Be there to support in day to day life; such as social visits, family visits and also days out Keeping paperwork up to date to ensure everything is captured for each person who lives in the home Working positively with colleagues, families and external organisations to assist in supporting those who live in the home.Who we are looking for: You will have strong communication skills Take pride in working with vulnerable people and take safeguarding responsibilities seriously Effective decision making and judgement skills Strong planning and organisation skills Achieves all Health & Safety standardsWhat you will receive in return: Market leading pay rates Length of service leave (up to five extra days holiday) Fully funded Blue Light Discount Card Access to Wagesteam - a financial wellbeing app that lets you access your pay as and when you earn it, get discounts at supermarkets and helps you save.
