This is a great opportunity for a Sale Engineer Applications Engineer, Contract Engineer, Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Building Services Engineer with experience of working on commercial ventilation projects. In addition, Air Conditioning Engineers, Ventilation Engineers or HVAC Engineers who possess good customer-facing skills who are looking to come off the tools in to a commercial role, are welcome to apply Package: Salary £35,000 to £45,000 DOE Full-time, permanent position 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Hybrid working available 33 days holiday 5% employer pension, you put in 3% Responsibilities: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop appropriate ventilation solutions Conduct technical assessments, perform calculations, and analyze data to determine optimal equipment sizing and specifications Prepare and present technical proposals, including system layouts, equipment selections, and performance estimates Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the installation and operation of our products, working closely with the engineering and service departments Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to ventilation equipment Collaborate with the product development team to provide valuable feedback for product improvement and new product development initiatives Requirements: Formal engineering qualifications such as a degree, diploma, apprenticeship or equivalent Solid understanding of HVAC principles, ventilation systems, and air diffusion Previous experience in a similar role within the ventilation, HVAC, or related industry is highly desirable Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and perform calculations Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites for project installations and support A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with clientsWR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
