Modern Workplace Engineer/ Specialist Financial Services Hybrid- 2 Days Onsite Salary: £90-100k + 20% Bonus + Generous Pension+ Benefits I am partnering with my Leading Financial services client who is currently looking for a Modern Workplace Engineer/ Specialist to join their highly technical \ infrastructure team based in various locations in the UK. You will provide both technical guidance and demonstrate hands-on technical expertise whilst designing, building, and implementing workplace technology solutions based on business requirements Participate in a team designing, developing, and testing modern workplace solution Developing, designing and testing enterprise solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Office 365 Productivity and Collaboration Tooling e.g. Be a technology game-changer, challenge conventional thinking and influence a new approach to technology change underpinned by modern principles Experience in developing, designing, and testing enterprise solutions using Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Defender suite of products, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Office 365 Productivity and Collaboration Tooling Solid understanding of delivery frameworks such as Agile and DevOps would be helpful, however technical and communication skills are important to ensure successful outcomes as part of the wider team. Experience in innovating fresh solutions to meet business requirements where no solutions currently exist Experience in using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) with enterprise solutions to investigate, build, design, or test change Knowledge of modern security principles including identity-driven security, data-centric controls, and zero trust Knowledge of traditional and modern virtualisation solutions and standard methodology including an awareness of deploying and running cloud-hosted compute in Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform Knowledge of industry Unified Endpoint Management technologies such as Google Workspace, Air Watch, JAMF, Citrix, and others.
