Audit & Accounting Manager

Role: Audit Manager Location: Birmingham (North) Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 Join a dynamic Accountancy practice where your knowledge and expertise are valued. Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion of audits. Oversee a portfolio of 20-30 clients from a variety of industries. Supervise and manage a small team of Audit Seniors, ensuring quality and efficiency in all engagements. Work closely with clients to ensure smooth communication and project delivery. 50% of your time focused on audit and 50% on accounts. Utilise systems such as Digita, Xero, Sage1, and QuickBooks for audit and accounting tasks. Contribute to the development of junior team members and ensure high-quality service delivery. Key Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in audit. 4+ years of experience working in a practice environment. ACCA qualified is essential. Clear understanding and proven experience in audit planning, execution, and completion. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
