Key Responsibilities Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers specialising in power systems, power conversion, automation, control, and mechanical integration to ensure the overall solution meets customer, contract, quality, and regulatory requirements. Provide technical leadership , advice, and assistance to the overall project team, including Commissioning, Service, and 3rd parties. Support the Project Manager as required and deputise for them as needed. Plan and progress all design engineering related activities, including testing and commissioning for specific projects. Monitor, control, and manage engineering budgets, project documentation, risk management processes, design reviews, and quality & change control systems in accordance with company guidelines. Support improvement initiatives and 'cost out' plans in collaboration with teams from other business units. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience in an engineering leadership environment . Expertise in application engineering in one or more fields, including power engineering, electrical drive systems, grid-connected systems, and automation. Knowledge of specifying components such as drives, motors, transformers, and switchboards. Experience in designing and integrating complex multi-disciplinary projects. Understanding of power generation , conversion, transmission, and distribution. Familiarity with LV and MV variable speed drives and motors . Ability to lead large multi-disciplinary teams and multi-task on a variety of tasks within strict timelines. Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills . A customer-centric mindset and experience in translating customer needs into profitable business solutions.
