Our client, a leading organization in the BFSI sector based in Birmingham/ Sunderland, UK, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer with a strong background in Java. This role is based in Birmingham/ Sunderland and offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a dynamic and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. System integration - Work closely with various teams to integrate third-party applications and APIs. Performance optimization - Identify bottlenecks and improve application performance. Code reviews and mentorship - Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers. Technical documentation - Create and maintain technical documentation for new and existing applications. Troubleshooting - Investigate and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments. Required Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on the BFSI sector.
