Staff Data Engineer Up to £100,000 Brighton Once a month in office Harnham are working with a SaaS based company that specialises in building AI products to assist customers and they require a Staff level Data Engineer to build out their streaming platform. THE COMPANY This company has been working with some of the world's leading businesses in the media space and are looking to build into other industries. They are a fast-growing and ambitious organisation with a team full of exceptionally driven people. They are looking for a Staff Data Engineer to develop a streaming platform which will be a greenfield implementation to support the AI products. THE ROLE As a Staff Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the team and the streaming platform. You will be working cross-functionally with Data and Software Engineers to achieve this. It will be your responsibility to architect the platform and build the pipelines to facilitate it. Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following: Building real time data pipelines Mentoring the junior data and software engineers Owning and shaping the roadmap for how this will be built Developing the streaming platform to support the AI products SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE The successful Staff Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience: Have good knowledge of cloud environments Will still be close to code and therefore have good Python skills Have worked with Airflow to orchestrate the pipelines Have used a streaming technology to implement real-time data HOW TO APPLY Please register your interest by sending your CV via the Apply link on this page.
