Summary As a Senior Data Leader you will be responsible for shaping the organisation's data strategy and teams to drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions, ensure data governance, and leverage analytics for strategic decision-making. Your role will focus on optimising the collection, management, and utilisation of data assets to align with business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and identify new market opportunities. Responsibilities Align with a data strategy that delivers the organisation's data business goals and objectives. Collaborate with executive leadership to identify key data opportunities and translate them into actionable initiatives. Lead data governance efforts to ensure the quality, security, and compliance of data across the organisation. Oversee the development of advanced analytics, dashboards, and data models to provide insights for strategic decision-making. Direct cross-functional teams to optimise all aspects of data delivery and support. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive data innovation and transformation. Mentor and guide teams in data best practices, strategy development, and analytics to maximise the impact of data initiatives. Requirements Proven experience as a Data Leader. Strong understanding of data analytics, governance, architecture, and data management best practices. Expertise in data analytics, business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and data modelling techniques. Ability to develop and communicate a clear data strategy aligned with business objectives. Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels including Project Managers, Data Architects, Solution Architects. Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies, particularly Azure. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business, or a related field.
