Help Desk Engineer (Entry Level) | Quant Trading Firm in London | £40,000 - £45,000 Harrington Starr are currently partnered with a renowned Quant Trading Firm who are looking for two entry level Help Desk Engineers to join the Infrastructure Team in their London office. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the business in any technical issues both in person and remotely. This will be a with a view to becoming embedded in the company before progressing further up the technical ladder via expert levels of training and access to working with some of the industry’s best. Individuals who are deeply passionate about a career in IT within Financial Services. Solid basic IT skills (PC setup, plugging in and setting up workstations, connecting network cables, debugging physical PC issues) Experience with Windows and Linux. Extensive helpdesk or support experience is not required (Graduate level to 2 years exp is fine). Able to work 5 days a week onsite in the London office. Degree educated in Computer Science/Engineering, or something comparable. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals keen to enter the IT industry within a prestigious organization.
