JOB TITLE: Maintenance Electrician LOCATION: Wakefield SALARY: £35K-£38K depending on experience Full-time, permanent contract Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30 38.75 hours per week On-call rota covering 1 in 4 Standing charge of £150 Overtime rates Van and fuel card for business use 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Company discounts for employees and family Health and Wellbeing Scheme Pension OVERVIEW: Our client a leading FM company provides FM services in Wakefield.  Working across sectors including commercial, residential, education, and healthcare, they are requiring a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join their expanding team in Wakefield. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To provide, high-quality property electrical maintenance services to commercial and domestic properties in Wakefield. This is a mobile role and travel is required. DUTIES:  To undertake planned, responsive maintenance and minor installation works either independently or as part of a team. Service and repair of lighting and power distribution systems. Reactive repairs to all types of lighting systems and power distribution systems. Competent PAT tester To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools. To help maintain maintenance records and helpdesk reports. To take part in an On-call rota To provide support and assistance to other personnel on-site in the delivery of contracted services. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified Electrician with experience in installation and maintenance work.  Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
