Due to internal staff development and progression, the Exam Operations and Mitigating Circumstances Team are looking to recruit two conscientious team players who will contribute to our continuing success. The Team The Exam Operations and Mitigating Circumstances Team sit within the Student Administration section of Education Services, supporting the academic purposes of the University, and provides expert administrative support and advice to the University and Colleges relating to operational delivery of exams and reasonable adjustments for undergraduate and taught postgraduate courses. It also manages the administration of mitigating circumstances and allowances for undergraduate and taught postgraduate students. About the Role The Exams Administrator role is integral in supporting the delivery of a high quality, efficient and coordinated examination and assessment service that adapts to support the University's commitment to diversification of assessment. The Exams Administrators will be based in the Mitigating Circumstances Team, which focus on delivering support for those students who require reasonable adjustments in their assessments, including Adjusted Modes of Assessment, as well as supporting the work of the Examination Access and Mitigation Committee who consider applications for allowances and intermission. The work involved in this role will be varied, key responsibilities are included in the further particulars document. Your Skills Highly meticulous, accurate, and organised. Quick to adapt to change. Able to work under pressure and with a wide and complex workload. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively.
