Are you a seasoned B2B leader with a passion for the hospitality industry? Bermar, a world-renowned innovator in wine and Champagne preservation, seeks a visionary Business Development Manager to spearhead our Sales team's success.


We're looking for a strategic and results-oriented leader to help guide our team in cultivating new markets and fostering long-term partnerships with key hospitality players.


Key Responsibilities: 


  • In your role as Business Development Manager, you will:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy, driving revenue growth and brand recognition for Bermar in the global hospitality sector.
  • Oversee and manage a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, nurturing talent, and ensuring all team members achieve their goals.
  • Identify and capitalise on international growth opportunities through market analysis and strategic planning, tailoring Bermar's solutions to diverse markets.
  • Cultivate and manage key accounts, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and exceeding client expectations.
  • Represent Bermar at industry events, conferences, and meetings, establishing thought leadership and forging strategic partnerships.
  • Analyse market trends and data to develop targeted sales strategies and translate them into actionable plans for the team.
  • Deliver regular reports to senior management, showcasing team performance, exceeding sales targets, and outlining future growth initiatives.


Skills required:


  • Proven expertise in B2B sales or account management.
  • Hospitality industry experience; WSET Level 2 or equivalent education is an asset.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills; adept in written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in influencing stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, and determined individual.
  • Strong self-management and prioritisation abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with sharp attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.

Pay: £35,000 OTE
