Paediatric Senior Staff Nurse

Paediatric Senior Staff Nurse Inpatient Neurorehabilitation & Complex Care London. Permanent, Full time (long days, nights & Weekend shifts) Salary Range: Competitive £38,00 to £45,000 Per annum dependent on skills & experience + shifts enhancements. As a Paediatric Senior Staff Nurse working within the Neurorehabilitation and complex care inpatient ward you will provide clinical leadership and ensure the provision of high-quality nursing care to children and families. You will be undertaking delegated responsibility for the department in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse. Duties & Responsibilities: * Take responsibility for the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge nurse * Co-ordinate patient care with the multidisciplinary team * Manage allocated resources effectively and efficiently * Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within agreed timescales * Provide appropriate mentors and support for student nurses. * Ensure that tailored care plans are in place for all patients in the designated clinical area. * Using your clinical experience and knowledge to provde a high quality clinical care enviroment for patients. * Skills & Experience: * * NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support * Experience working within Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care needs * Experience with tracheostomised patients is desirable. * Understanding of Safeguarding issues * Teaching, supervising and assessing students. * Leadership of shift teams is desirable * Excellent written and verbal communication * Understanding and implementing clinical governance processes. * Auditing experience within a clinical setting. * If this opportunity to work as a Senior Paediatric Staff Nurse in Neuro rehab and complex care excites you and you are keen to be part of an expanding Paediatric service please contact Bev Gordon at JS3 recruitment for further imformation about the role.
