As an Energy Modeler, you will play a pivotal role in driving energy-efficient design across a variety of sectors. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to provide critical insights through data-driven energy modelling. As an Energy Modeler, you will play a pivotal role in driving energy-efficient design across a variety of sectors. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to provide critical insights through data-driven energy modelling. Your expertise will help ensure that projects comply with environmental standards and achieve optimal building performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed energy modelling using IES (Integrated Environmental Solutions) software to assess and enhance building energy performance.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate energy-efficient solutions into building design and construction.
- Offer expert sustainability advice and guidance, ensuring projects meet or exceed energy efficiency goals.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive reports that outline modelling results, analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure all projects comply with UK energy regulations, including Approved Documents Part L, Part F, and Part O, as well as other sustainability certifications.
- Provide guidance to clients on navigating energy legislation and understanding regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in sustainability frameworks and energy modelling best practices.
