AKR – CONMGR - 004 Job Title: Contracts Manager Location: London Salary: £80,000 per annum + package (including car allowance, pension, and BUPA) Overview: We are currently seeking two experienced contract managers to join a dynamic and innovative construction firm dedicated to delivering high-quality social housing solutions. This role presents an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse range of projects, including tower block refurbishments, regeneration work, and new builds, all under a well-established framework. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee 4 to 5 projects simultaneously, ensuring effective management of build programs and project timelines. * Maintain high health and safety standards on-site, fostering a safe and productive working environment. * Lead and manage site teams, ensuring effective communication and reporting structures. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and expectations throughout the project lifecycle. * Demonstrate cash flow management and commercial awareness to support project success and profitability. Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience as a contract manager in the social housing sector, particularly with design and build (D&B) contracts. * Familiarity with JCT contracts and the complexities involved in managing construction projects. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and drive project performance. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders. * Previous experience managing projects valued between £2 million and £12 million is preferred.
