Title: Learning & Development AD Company: Global Pharmaceutical company Location: remote based in UK or Ireland Employment Type: Permanent We are seeking an Associate Director to lead our Global Training Strategy , responsible for the design, development, and implementation of training programs across multiple departments. This role will collaborate with senior leaders and various stakeholders to identify learning needs, address skill gaps, and ensure that colleagues worldwide are equipped with the necessary knowledge and competencies to support key business initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive training strategy, enhancing existing curricula and implementing innovative learning solutions across departments. Ensure the professional growth of employees by overseeing curriculum design, content development, and training delivery in partnership with senior leaders and line managers. Maintain high training standards, utilizing cutting-edge instructional methods and technologies while incorporating adult learning principles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Digital Excellence, and various operational units, to align training initiatives with organizational goals and business needs. Oversee the measurement of training program effectiveness and continuously improve solutions based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Manage external vendor relationships, ensuring the development of high-quality training materials and programs that meet project objectives. Support the integration of new systems, processes, and technologies by developing training solutions that facilitate smooth implementation and change management. Qualifications: Extensive experience in developing and managing training programs, ideally across various functional areas. Expertise in adult learning principles and experience applying innovative instructional methods and technologies. Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and geographies. Proven experience managing budgets and external vendors to deliver high-quality training solutions. Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
