Sustainability Manager

We have a new opening for a Group Quality & Sustainability Project Manager with one of our clients based in Greater Manchester.Based at the company’s site in Greater Manchester, you’ll provide support to the wider group with regards to Quality, Environmental and Sustainability strategies. You’ll be flexible and open to travel to other company sites in Europe and US.What You GetOn top of base salary there is an annual bonus on offerPension schemePrivate Health25 days holiday + statsLife assurancePlenty of overseas travel with this role.About The JobYou’ll be a ‘go to’ person for support and direction with regards to quality, environmental and sustainability projects.You’ll ensure the quality policies and management systems follow the wider group objectives, procedures and standards.You’ll lead project related workshops on special topics with regards to Quality and Sustainability.Support with the definition of objectives and KPI’s with site/department headsStandards quality management procedures through the group.Reach consensus on best practices between international companies.Conduct regular meetings with Quality managers for alignment and foster the exchange of knowledge between quality departments.Group quality reporting, Gap analysis, diagnosis and validation of results and definition of further improvement options, supplier audits.About YouYou’ll have extensive experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Of course we’ll need strong knowledge of quality management systems You’ll be an effective leader with the ability to educate and influence decisionsGiven the nature of the role, you’ll have an outstanding eye for detail, you’ll be able to identify discrepancies and deliver solutionsYou’ll be passionate about sustainability and the various projects that will ariseWillingness to travel regularly is a mustThis is an immediate requirement, if you feel that you have the skills and experience required, then apply now for further info.
