We’re currently seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our fantastic team at our Forest Gate site; Reporting into the Site Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with and influence our teams, providing expert health and safety guidance and support. As Health Safety and Environmental Manager, you’ll be passionate about our people and enjoy building strong relationships with all our colleagues and their representatives, bringing a positive, encouraging and people-centric approach to your work. you’ll work alongside your peers in the Senior Leadership Team to align and execute our Health and Safety strategy, championing change and the development of our teams. Here at Hovis®, you’ll be given the autonomy to drive the Health and Safety agenda; you’re encouraged to lead and develop all safety production activities, aiming for optimisation of assets. Compliance with Hovis® Ltd and legislative Health and Safety requirements. Ownership of risk assessments and overall quality of safety output. Coordination of Health, Safety and Environmental activities for Forest Gate, ensuring all targets are achieved in line with expectation. IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualifications. Experience of accident prevention programme implementation. The ability to design and implement effective Health and Safety training ensuring impactful deployment in line with company Health and Safety strategy.
