Warehouse Supervisor

Tooles Transport have the opportunity for a full time Warehouse Afternoons Supervisor to join the team. We run a busy logistics operation in which our skilled material handling team is vital. They are responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, and ensuring swift and reliable customer service. Are you an FLT driver? Do you have a valid counter-balance licence?

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the transhipment function (manage the handling of goods) loading and unloading from vehicles, use of forklift trucks. Including allocating work effectively and fairly whilst providing guidance and instruction where required.

• Supervise Warehouse Operatives and Forklift Truck Drivers undertaking work, monitor performance and address performance issues constructively, informing management where performance is unsatisfactory after training. Should any staff under your supervision not perform to the required standard, it is your responsibility to inform management in order to adopt the appropriate performance management steps and training.

• Manage stocktakes and provide stock counts to the traffic office as and when required.

• Process paperwork relating to inbound and outbound freight.

• Accurately manage driver internal labelling and also pallet network labelling.

• All of our Warehouse operatives including supervisors are responsible for the safe and secure loading and unloading of our vehicles, ensuring all freight is safely packaged and undamaged in readiness to be delivered to our customers.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday: 13 00
Alternating Saturday Mornings: 07 00
